Nicor Gas Infrastructure Replacement Project
Residents affected by the project should have recently received a mailed notice from Nicor. Currently Nicor’s contractor, NPL, is performing the sewer cleaning phase associated with Nicor’s infrastructure replacement project. In the coming weeks, NPL will begin installing gas mains, followed by service replacements. The project will conclude with restoration of sidewalks and lawns. The approximate project location is the area bounded by Howard Street, Niles Center Road and Lincoln Avenue.
