Construction Activity Notice

Today, Thursday, January 12, 2017, the Skokie Public Works Department will be making repairs to a water main on eastbound Howard Street between Karlov and Keystone Avenues. Eastbound Howard Street will be closed at Karlov Avenue. At Karlov, traffic will be detoured south to Birchwood Avenue, east to Keystone Avenue and back to Howard Street. Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid this section of eastbound Howard Street and to seek alternate routes. Repairs and temporary roadway restoration is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Thursday, January 12, 2017.
