​CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY NOTICE: Road Closures for Chiller Replacement Project on Oakton Street at Lincoln Avenue

On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, the Skokie Public Works Department reports that road closures will take place while an Imperial Crane is set up to replace a chiller on the rooftop of the 8001 Lincoln Avenue building. West bound Oakton Street traffic will moved into the east bound traffic lanes. This will provide one lane traffic for both east and west bound Oakton Street traffic for a short period of time between Lincoln and Babb Avenues. Street parking will be reduced and limited during this time to allow steady traffic flow at all time.

Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid this section of Oakton Street and to seek alternate routes. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
