Day Care Center Lost Track of Toddler Girl
DCFS is investigating an incident at Mosaic Early Childhood Center in Skokie, where a little girl squeezed through the fence of a play area.

SKOKIE, IL - A Skokie day care center lost track of a 1-year-old girl who squeezed through the fence of an outdoor play area.
The toddler was noticed by an alert neighbor after wandering down the alley from the Mosaic Early Childhood Center at 4023 Dempster St., according to a CBS Chicago report. She was not harmed.
“If there were people watching her, there would have been no way that she could have done out on her own,” said the child's mother, Jorina Miller. “You would think if you were going to go outside you would know how many kids went outside and how kids went back in.”
