Devar Emet Messianic Synagogue. “A real synagogue must meet the needs of real people within the congregation’s

Founded by Rabbi Gliebe, who also serves as Director of Devar Emet Messianic Jewish Outreach, the congregation

began as a small group of Jewish teens and families who assembled to learn more about Jewish culture, history and

faith in Yeshua (Jesus) as the Jewish Messiah. As the group grew, Rabbi Gliebe realized the need for a synagogue to

be established where Jewish people would be encouraged to grow in their faith in the Messiah Yeshua and in their

identity as Jews. More than 10 years later, Devar Emet continues to represent a living body of young adults and

children, aswell as singles and families from across the Chicagoland area.

Devar Emet Messianic Synagogue celebrates weekly Shabbat morning services and midweek activities at the

synagogue for people of all ages, as well as special events. The Temple prides itself on outreach to the greater

community, hosting youth activities, 20’s events and Single’s Dinner Nights.

“Devar Emet exists to help grow its members and visitors, in their love for God as followers of Messiah Yeshua,

through worship and study so they can then serve and encourage others both in their synagogue and greater Jewish

community,” said Vlad Horol, member of Devar Emet.

Devar Emet welcomes all to their Shabbat (Saturday) morning service at 10:00am located at 7800 Niles Ave, (on the

corner of Lincoln and Niles Ave) in Skokie, Illinois. Their services are broadcasted via audio archive on their website

at www.devaremet.org/#/media and daily blog accounts of the synagogue’s anniversary will also be made available

on their website www.devaremet.org.

Besides serving as Rabbi of Devar Emet Messianic Synagogue, Rabbi Gliebe also currently serves as the President of

the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. More information is available at http://www.devaremet.org.
