Edens Rollover Crash Kills 25-Year-Old Man
Police said a man headed north at a "high rate of speed" Monday morning struck the median, rolled over across all lanes of traffic and died.

SKOKIE, IL — A man died in a one-car rollover crash on the Edens Expressway Monday morning in Skokie after losing control of his speeding car, state police said.
A 2009 black Honda was headed north on Interstate 94 at a high rate of speed shortly after 5 a.m. when it struck the concrete wall on the left side of the expressway at Gross Point Road, according to state police.
State police said the force of the impact sent the sedan rolling "across all lanes of traffic." The driver, a 25-year-old man who has not yet been identified, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was not known if the driver was wearing his seat belt.
At 9 a.m., state police said the right lane of northbound I-94 was closed at Dempster Street as part of the crash investigation. Northbound delays of up to 30 minutes were reported. No further information was immediately available.
