Pangratios Papacosta, professor of physics at Columbia College and longtime public lecturer on science, speaks December 4th, on “Astrobiology—Life Beyond Earth.” Claiming that "the imminent discovery” of extraterrestrial life “will be the most exciting moment in human history,” Papacosta will discuss the latest planet-hunting techniques and review the historic discoveries that have advanced our understanding of life.
