Yolanda Adler opens our summer season of member-led programs on June 19th at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln Ave. in Skokie at 10:30 a.m. Her topic is “Faith and Mortality.” A retired physician, she will discuss how humans have dealt with the inevitability of death by searching for consolation in the idea of an after-life and through their religious practices. She will ask: “Can we be happy if we just accept our mortality?”
Please join us for Coffee Hour after the talk. All are welcome to our Sunday programs, which are free and open to the public, and childcare is available. For more information, please visit http://www.ethicalhuman.org.
