
Fox's “GLEE” star Jonathan Groff is coming to Loyola Academy in Wilmette, this summer as part of a week-long performing arts camp to be held from July 8 to 13.
Led by Disney, Nickelodeon and Broadway Casting Director David Petro, the professional performing arts camp will feature classes on dancing, acting, voice, film-making and more, according to a press release. Participants will also have a chance to take a professional headshot and get resume tips.
Registration is open to ages 8 to 25; all experience levels are welcome

Groff is best know for his guest starring role on Glee as Jesse St. James, the male lead of rival glee club, Vocal Adrenaline. He also serves as a love interest for his former Spring Awakening co-star Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry.
His leading role in Broadway's Spring Awakening garnered him a Tony Nomination for Best Performance by A Leading Actor In A Musical. This made him one of the youngest people to every be nominated for a Tony® Award. For this performance, he also received a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical, Drama League Award for Distinguished Performer and Theatre World Award.

It was recently announced that Groff will be starring in the lead role of Patrick, in a yet to be titled, comedy series for HBO.
“We are thrilled to offer this amazing educational opportunity to our community,” said Dr Kathryn Baal, Principal of Loyola Academy. “The elite professional instruction of Jonathan Groff, David Petro and the BBT faculty, are extraordinary– this is such a wonderful opportunity for aspiring performers to learn from seasoned professionals and network with people actively involved in the entertainment business.”
Enrollment is $495 a person by May 15 and $595 a person after May 15. The class meets each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Loyola Academy.
