The Longest 90 Miles: An American in Havana

Katie Merrell, a Society member, speaks June 17th on “The Longest 90 Miles: An American in Havana.” Katie was part of a group from WorldChicago, a State Department-affiliated NGO that toured Cuba in April. While not an expert on Cuban politics, Katie will reflect on her visits to farms, museums, and a factory, as well as on her conversations with artists and professors. She will share her observations about Cuban life, history, and culture.

Please join us for Coffee Hour after the talk.

All are welcome to our EHS Sunday programs, which are free and open to the public.
