
Matt Cole, a member and former president of the Society, speaks August 14th at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago in Skokie. His topic is “The Ultimate Ethical Dilemma—the Bombing of Hiroshima.” Matt will discuss the human, ethical, and political consequences of President Truman’s often-debated decision to drop a fearsome nuclear bomb on Hiroshima in August 1945.
