Women & Heart Disease Community Forum

The Women's Board of Skokie Hospital at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) is hosting an educational forum to increase understanding and draw attention to women's heart health. Featured speaker and WomenHeart volunteer Marla Cowan will share her story of surviving triple bypass surgery, along with the latest information on heart health.  With over 41 million American women affected by heart disease, Cowan will also discuss the importance of understanding risks of heart disease, early detection and treatment options. 

Refreshments will be served at  5:30 p.m. The program begins at 6 p.m.
