First Bank and Trust Extends Program to Donate Money to Local Nonprofits for Facebook Likes
First Bank and Trust will donate $2.50 to a local nonprofit organization for every "like" the bank receives on its Facebook page.

EVANSTON, IL – In August 2014, First Bank & Trust announced it would donate $2.50 to a local nonprofit organization for every “like” the bank received on its Facebook page through December. Now, thanks to an overwhelmingly successful campaign, First Bank & Trust is pleased to announce that it will continue the initiative through May 2015.
“First Bank & Trust is dedicated to supporting non-profits in our community, and we feel this promotion is a wonderful way of promoting worthy causes,” said Michael Yohanan, Marketing Manager at First Bank & Trust. “With the first promotion, we were amazed at how many people in our community came forward to support their favorite non-profit organizations by liking our Facebook page, and the non-profits were ecstatic to not only receive the funds, but also to increase their visibility.”

Donations will be made each month, to a maximum of $500.
