The Lincolnwood Police Department and financial crimes investigators from the Cook County Sheriff's office opened an investigation last year after Econocare officials found suspicious checks from the corporate bank account written to her. That investigation found approximately 80 forged checks made out to her, prosecutors said.
Wolff-Geisler faced felony counts of theft and continuing financial crimes enterprise and a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
