Girl Escapes Alleged Kidnapping by Locking Herself in Walmart Bathroom
Her ex - a 19-year-old Evanston man - is accused of breaking into the minor's home in Skokie and driving her to the southwest suburbs.

SKOKIE, IL - A 19-year-old Evanston man is accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend and driving her to a Walmart in near southwest suburban Cicero earlier this month before she was able to escape by locking herself in a bathroom at the store.
Jimmy Jasso faces charges of home invasion with a weapon and aggravated kidnapping with a weapon after an alleged Jan, 6 incident in the 8600 block of St. Louis Avenue in Skokie, according to a report from the Daily Northwestern.
Skokie police say Jasso forced his way into the home of the victim, who is younger than 18, while three other juveniles were there as well. He demanded that she leave the home with him and was driven to the Walmart on Cicero Avenue in Cicero, where she called police after locking herself in the bathroom.

Cicero police rescued the young woman and reunited her with her parents at the Skokie Police Department. She was treated but unharmed.
The other juveniles at the home during the alleged home invasion were also unharmed.
