The Heart Can Change: A Journey toward German-Jewish Reconciliation
The granddaughter of German Jews who fled Germany in 1939 offers a slideshow presentation of her journey to German-Jewish reconciliation.

Speaker Judith Levi, the granddaughter of German Jews who fled Nazi Germany in 1939, offers a slideshow presentation depicting her journey to German-Jewish reconciliation, and explores what the heart-opening power of reconciliation and forgiveness can offer each of us in our own lives.
The U.S.-born daughter of German Jews, Judith had kept a careful distance between herself and Germany for most of her life. Yet after her first eye-opening, stereotype-shattering trip to Germany on the 60th anniversary of Kristallnacht, she had her assumptions about contemporary Germans -- and her own identity -- turned upside-down.
