Illinois State Police Accepting Applications for New Recruits

The Illinois State Police Merit Board has opened the application process for the position of Illinois State Police Trooper. The Merit Board would encourage you to visit our website, www.illinoistrooper.com, and apply by following the link to the Online Application from the main page. Individuals who successfully complete the application and return the required documents will be instructed to complete the Recruitment Test through self-identified email. Individuals who successfully pass the Recruitment Test will be placed into the eligibility pool. Once a cadet class is scheduled, the Merit Board will initiate the Selection Process, which consists of the PFit Exam, Backgrounds, Oral Interviews and Certification.
