Jollibee Now Open in Skokie
The Filipino food favorite made its Midwest debut on Touhy Avenue last week.
SKOKIE, IL - The Midwest’s first Jollibee location opened Friday in Skokie.
The Filipino fast-food restaurant celebrated their 34th United States location and 1,081st worldwide with a four-foot table bucket of chicago, according to the Chicago Eater. Lines out the door were witnessed all day at 3534 W. Touhy Ave. The large bucket of chicken is a tradition for the chain when celebrating the opening of a new location.
According to The Eater, the restaurant offers “a taste of home with spaghetti with a sweet red sauce garnished with hot dog slices."

Popular menu items at Jollibee include the “Chickenjoy,” “Jolly Spaghetti” and “Yum Burgers.”
Job listings on the Jollibee website indicate a store supervisor position vacant at the new Skokie spot.
