Man Arrested After Armed Robbery of Skokie Walgreen's: Police

Police believe the man demanded Oxycontin with a BB gun.

SKOKIE, IL — A man displayed a handgun to the pharmacist at the Walgreens at 9150 Skokie Boulevard Wednesday afternoon and demanded Oxycontin, police said. He was given pills, left, and was quickly arrested after a foot chase that went from Weber Center to Emerson Street and Lawler Avenue, according to Police. A BB gun police believe was used in the robbery was recovered.
