'Hammer Made' will make its Chicagoland debut with a store at Old Orchard Mall.

SKOKIE, IL - A new men’s specialty store will open inside Old Orchard Mall in August.
Hammer Made, a Minnesota-based retailer, will make its first expansion to the Chicago area with the opening of the 900-square-foot location.
The store specializes in “affordable, limited edition dress shirts,” according to a news release. Shirts have three price points, $98.50, $128.50 and $148.50.

The shirts are all designed by owner/founder Jason Hammerberg, who called the Chicago-area the next “logical” step for expansion.
“We have many Chicago customers who were vocal about us opening a store here--and there is a market mindset that is similar to the Twin Cities,” Hammerberg said.

The shirts are made with fabrics directly from European mills.
“Our difference is our speed to market and our one-of-a-kind, confidence-building style and quality. We offer 10 new designs to our customers each week—guys’ guy shirts with just the right amount of detail—not boring and basic, but classic with a twist,” Hammerberg said.
Hammer Made has four locations in Minnesota, including one at Mall of America.
