Landscape and garden with native Midwestern flowers instead of introduced species, and provide a future for local birds and butterflies that rely on native plants. Charlotte Adelman and Bernard Schwartz, co-authors of "The Midwestern Native Garden," will provide examples of Midwestern flowers and plants that are alternatives to the popular Asian and European species occupying most of our gardens and landscapes.
