Trivia is always free to play; it’s entertainment paid for by the venue. Sports bars, pubs, and even family-friendly restaurants offer trivia with the expectation that the players will not only patronize the venue that night, but will also come back on other nights.
The term “pub trivia” suggests that “pub grub” is all you can expect. The Village Inn, however, offers a full menu that includes soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and desserts – in addition to appetizers and a variety of soft drinks and tasty brews.

In addition to a test of your ability to recall obscure facts, and an opportunity to enjoy an evening out with friends, there are prizes for the winning teams. The Village Inn offers gift cards for use at the Village Inn on a future date – $30-$20-$10 respectively to the first-place, second-place, and third-place teams; and another $20 awarded in a random drawing among all non-winning teams that stay for the entire game.
Top teams get invited to regional tournaments a couple times each year, with cash prizes of hundreds of dollars for the winning teams. The top three teams at the Village Inn have qualified for the Whaddayaknow? Tournament of Champions later this month – on July 27th.
