Niles North Plans a Fairytale Homecoming for Week of Oct. 9

Niles North High School is planning a fairytale Homecoming Week and you are invited. “Once Upon a Homecoming” events take place at the high school at 9800 North Lawler Avenue, Skokie. Niles North High School alumni are invited to attend the events on Friday, October 13. The parade, featuring colorful, storybook-themed banners from clubs and organizations, begins at approximately 6:30 p.m., starting in the North parking lot and traveling down Lawler Avenue, before entering and promenading through the stadium. Alumni are invited to join the parade and then stop in the alumni tent, which opens following the parade in the corner of Chuck Pos Stadium. The Viking football team plays rival Niles West in the Skokie Skirmish with kickoff starting at 7 p.m. During the exciting half-time show, the 2017 Homecoming Court will be recognized.
