Niles West Bomb Threat Not Credible: Police
A bomb squad searched the school Wednesday night and cleared the building for class Thursday.

SKOKIE, IL — A Cook County Sheriff's Police bomb squad swept Niles West High School for possible explosives Wednesday night after Skokie police received a call threatening a bombing at the school the following morning. No explosive devices were found, the threat was found to be not credible and the school was determined to be safe for students Thursday, was police said.
Police headed to campus right away to search for suspicious devices. They also called out a K-9 unit from the sheriff's office for a full sweep of the facilities.
School officials expected the school day to go ahead as normal, according to police.
