Niles West's 3rd Annual Community Service Day Gives Back
The Wolfpack gave back more than 570 hours to the community
The 3rd Annual “Wolfpack Gives Back” Community Service Day took place on Saturday, October 26. Almost 200 students and adults gathered to give back more than 570 hours of service to the community. In the course of three hours, Niles West:
-Cleaned/Organized the Niles Township Clothing Closet and packed a truck full of extra clothes so that the Clothing Closet may receive a $1,048.10 check in order to purchase new undergarments for distribution
-Made 325 heart pillows and they will be distributed to local oncology units for those who have breast cancer

-Made 204 bagged lunches, completed 128 emergency kits, and sorted through the clothes inventory at Connections for the Homeless
-Washed and painted walls at "Hilda's Place" and "Our House" for Connections as well

-Painted the bathrooms at Lincoln Jr. High
-Put together 20 care packages to send out to military troops
-Helped Go Green Club with their recycling bins
-Forest Preserve clean up at Harms Woods & Watersmeet Prairie Grove
-Last but not least, helped out with the Cross Country Regional
Groups who participated: Yearbook, CEC, Boys Basketball, Homeroom Mentors, BSU, Middle Eastern Club, Seminars for Scholars, Chinese Club, MSA, DIY, Fashion Club, NHS, Sophomore Cabinet, Girls Swimming. WHO Club, NARWHALS, Mr. Jodelka's Bio Classes, and Cheerleading.
The Wolfpack Gives Back Community Service Day also coincided with the National You Make a Difference Day. Great job to Wolfpack Gives Back on serving the community.
