The Northern Illinois University Jazz Ensemble, with special guest artist Donald Harrison, saxophonist, will perform at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29 in the Robert L. Johnson Auditorium at Niles West High School, 5701 Oakton, Skokie.
This is a free concert and an incredible opportunity to experience what is considered one of the best college jazz bands in the world.
The list of guest artists with whom the ensemble has performed includes Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Bellson, Clark Terry, Tito Puente, James Moody, Jimmy Heath and Wynton Marsalis, to name a few.
