Patricia Sledge, 71 of Des Plaines, Illinois has passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Born on January 21, 1948, in Chicago Illinois to Arthur and Rosemary Sledge, who proceeded her in death as did her Step-Father Charles Nelson and brother Arthur Sledge Jr.

Patricia enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, and helping others. She especially loved spending time with her family. She was a dedicated employee of Gateway Foundation for over twenty five years and was a compassionate giving person loved by all.

Patricia is survived by seven beloved first cousins, Judy Lewis, Geraldine Harrison, Carole Boone, Crystal Boone, Elbert Edwards, Jesse Fisher and Leon Fisher.

She had a host of beloved friends who love to visit and play cards, cook and have a good time.

Visitation 6 to 7 p.m. May 1. Service May 1, 7 to 8 p.m., 10045 Skokie Blvd., Skokie
