Northbrook Community Synagogue honors former presidents at Sept. 11 dinner

Northbrook Community Synagogue honored three of the synagogue's former presidents and their families at a dinner on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016. Honorees, who facilitated the merger of three synagogues, include former presidents Norman Goldstein and his wife Bonnie; David Holpert, and his wife, Elaina; and Nate Weiss, and his wife, Kathy. There were 110 people who attended this event. The three presidents helped make a smooth transition to Northbrook Community Synagogue by the merger of the former synagogues Adas Yehudi v'Shoshana (or AYSH) of Northbrook, Northbrook Congregation Ezra Habonim, and Maine Township Jewish Congregation of Des Plaines.
