Obituary: Ruben Meyerson, 92

Ruben Meyerson passed away Thursday at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of the late Sonia née Kaplan, the loving father of Ronald (Gail) Meyerson, David (Pamela) Meyerson and the late Steven Meyerson, the proud grandfather of Jordana, Sarah, Emily, Jordyn, Jeremy, Jared, Jayla and Reagan and the dear brother of Ruth (the late Isaac) Morhaim and the late Linda (the late Max) Israel.

Ruben was the former co-owner of Meyerson’s Clothing Store on Roosevelt Road. He was affectionately known as the “Mayor of Roosevelt Road.”

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Willow Lawn Cemetery, 24090 N. Highway 45, Vernon Hills.
