Observe Holy Week & The Three Days in Skokie

at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church

Pastor Daniel Morris and the members of St. Tim's welcome you to join them during Holy Week: Palm Sunday, March 25th, through Easter Sunday, April 1st.

Join us for a special breakfast on Palm Sunday, Break bread in fellowship on Maundy Thursday, Experience the service of lament on Good Friday, Walk the prayer labyrinth during the Easter Vigil, and Celebrate God's love through the risen Christ on Easter!

Palm Sunday Breakfast, March 25, 9:00 – 10:00am, Fellowship Hall; Worship follows, Sanctuary. Enter Holy Week with a special breakfast as we celebrate the lordship of our Savior!

Maundy Thursday, March 29, 6:30pm, Sanctuary. A special guest speaker will talk about hunger in our community and how support from groups like St. Timothy’s makes a difference. Break bread with other worshippers. Worship will include food, foot washing, and Holy Communion.

Good Friday, March 30, 7:00 – 8:00pm, Sanctuary. Experience the extent of God’s love for you at this moving musical service.

Easter Vigil Prayer Stations Saturday, March 31, 6:30 – 8:30pm, Sanctuary. Celebrate the light that shines in the darkness at the first Easter celebration. This service of prayer stations can be done in your own time at your own pace. Come any time between 6:30 and 8:30pm. Stations will take about 30 minutes to complete.

Easter Sunday, April 1, 10:30 – 11:30am, Sanctuary. Jesus is risen! Celebrate his triumph over death as we gather to worship God and receive the gifts of God’s love through the risen Christ!
