O'Reilly Auto Parts Store Could Open on Dempster Street
Real estate contract finalized for village to unload property.

A property on Dempster Street was sold by the village of Skokie to ORY Skokie L.L.C. for an estimated $900,000 recently, with plans for the area to be the home of an O’Reilly Auto Parts store.
The real estate contract was approved by the Village Board last week, according to the Skokie Review. The $900,000 price is less than the $1.3 million the village paid for the property in 2009.
“However, the price exceeds a recent appraisal of the property, which set the fair market value at $800,000,” according to the Review.
