Pace Bus Routes 210 and 226 Detours

Due to the Village of Skokie’s annual Backlot Bash, Oakton Street will be closed between Lockwood Avenue and Lincoln Avenue and Lincoln Avenue will be closed between Brown Street and Oakton Street beginning 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Routes 210 and 226 will detour as follows:

Route 210 Detour
Skokie Boulevard ↔ Main Street ↔ Lincoln Avenue

Route 226 Detour
Oakton Street ↔ Central Avenue/Frontage Road ↔ Howard Street ↔ Niles Center Road

During this detour, Route 210 buses will not serve Oakton Street between Skokie Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue or Lincoln Avenue between Oakton Street and Main Street in both directions. Route 226 will not serve Oakton Street Between Central Avenue/Frontage Road and Niles Center Road or Niles Center Road between Oakton and Howard in both directions.

On the temporary segments of the routes, posted bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along that segment.

Buses will return to regular route Monday, August 30, 2021. Please allow extra travel time during this detour.
