Paula Deen Will Sign Her Cookbook in Skokie

Paula Deen will be in Skokie next week to sign copies of her new cookbook, “Paula Deen Cuts the Fat.”

Deen will be at the Barnes and Noble store at 55 Old Orchard Center from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, according to the Skokie Review. Tickets will be distributed at the store beginning at 9 a.m. that day.

Deen, a longtime celebrity chef and cooking show host, was dropped from The Food Network in 2013 after admitting to having used racial slurs in the workplace.

The cookbook includes 50 of Deen’s favorite southern recipes and 200 new ones.
