Police Mis-ID'd Person Who Found Woman in Snow
Elizabeth Lutz was thought to be found by son-in-law, but now it's clear it was a neighbor's relative.

The identity of the person who spotted 55-year-old Niles resident Elizabeth Lutz was misidentified by police, the Niles Herald-Spectator reports.
Police originally contended it was Lutz’ son-in-law who found her face-down in the parkway, but are now saying it was the relative of a neighbor.
My Fox-Chicago first reported that a family member of Lutz indicated she did not have a son-in-law.

Lutz was found outside her residence in the 6800 block of Dobson on Monday by the neighbor’s relative, who at first thought it “appeared to be a garbage bag” before realizing it was a human and called police 40 minutes later.
A determination of Lutz’ cause of death has been put on hold, waiting for toxicology reports.
