Purim on the Roof!

Come revel in the joyous celebration of Purim in the
Shtetl! Enjoy an evening full of entertainment, crafts, food and fun for the
whole family, full of lively energy:



 More than Tevye
could have ever imagined! Visit the bustling, thriving energy of the Jewish
shtetl at the most popular and beloved Purim celebration in Skokie! Friends and
fellow villagers will enjoy the activities at the butcher, the baker, the
candlestick maker: Listen to the megillah and learn about the mitzvot of Purim.

Enjoy a working cider press, bottle dancing, metal
crafts at the village smithy, food from the alter heim, classic pickle-making,
sofer scribal art, “vintage” photo booth, bake hamantashen, and more. Adults:
don’t forget to visit the kretchme to say l’chaim! (ID required.) Everyone in
costume receives a prize!

Saturday night, March 15, 2014. Free Megillah Reading
is at 8:30pm followed by the Purim Celebration at 9:15 pm. Admission to the
party: $24 adult, $14 child, $180 sponsor (includes 4 reservations).
