Lisa Barrow, a Society member and senior economist and research advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, speaks June 8th at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln
Avenue in Skokie. Her topic is, “Race and Selective Enrollment in the Public High Schools of Chicago.
“ Lisa will discuss recent concerns about diversity in these schools,
and how changing demographics and the end of the school desegregation
consent decree in 2009 have affected admissions.
