Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at New Chapel Fountain Estates

Memorial Park Cemetery is bringing the national trend of unique, privatized internment gardens to Skokie, Ill., with the unveiling of its new Chapel Fountain Estates garden on June 14, 2014. Residents of Skokie and surrounding areas are invited to tour this peaceful garden sanctuary Saturday morning during a dedication ceremony that will include the music of a live string ensemble, light refreshments and a ribbon cutting ceremony with Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen. Chapel Fountain Estates is designed with large, curving plots that provide a picturesque and contemplative setting for families to remember their loved ones. Each garden area features a flowing layout and stone benches for peaceful reflection on cherished memories and a fountain view.
