Join our energetic team to raise support, money, & awareness for survivors of intimate partner abuse!

Run Domestic Violence Out of Town Half Marathon/5K Team
Run Domestic Violence Out of Town is a partnership of 10 domestic violence programs throughout the Chicago metropolitan region as an approved charity for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. The partnership also has a team for the Chicago Half Marathon/5K on Sunday, September 23, 2018. The team is seeking team members who want to run or walk to have a role in ending domestic violence, and to support the programs who help victims and their families dealing with domestic and sexual violence.
Collectively, the team partners provide services to victims and their families free of charge. These services include:

Counseling for adult victims and their children
Medical Advocacy

and more victim advocacy services.
Partner agencies are: Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network, Arab-American Family Services, Center for Advancing Domestic Peace, Connections for Abused Women and their Children, Family Rescue, Metropolitan Family Services, SHALVA, South Suburban Family Shelter, Healthcare Alternative Services, and Take Back Our Lives.
