There are several rules for the seasonal program as spring cleanup gets underway. Grass clippings are not accepted, instead the village encourages residents to mulch them for natural lawn fertilization. There is also a 10-bag or bundle limit for each collection.
The resumed service gives homeowners a regular option for disposing of leaves, trimmings and other yard debris during the growing season, based on the collection guidelines in the notice.
