Shots Fired During 'Street Dispute' In Skokie
No injuries were reported and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
SKOKIE, IL — The Skokie Police Department is investigating a "street dispute" that escalated into a no-injury shooting on Wednesday.
Police responded to a shots-fired report in the 5000 block of Church Street at 4:11 p.m. and quickly secured the scene. According to authorities, responding officers made contact with the involved individuals.
According to preliminary investigation results, a firearm was discharged during a "street dispute." The dispute was not domestic-related, police said.

One person was taken into custody for questioning. Police are still investigating the incident.
