Skokie 2023 Budget Hearings Scheduled

The Village’s hearings for the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget are scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. on April 20, 25 and 26, 2022. Click here to view the FY23 Budget Hearing Agenda.

The proposed budget that runs through April 30, 2023, can be viewed by clicking here. All residents are invited to attend the meetings which will be held in Conference Rooms D & E of Village Hall, 5127 Oakton St.

Comments also may be submitted by email to publiccomments@skokie.org with ‘Budget Hearing Comment’ in the subject box either before or during the hearings, by mail to Village of Skokie, Village Manager’s Office, 5127 Oakton Street, Skokie, Illinois 60077 or via the Village’s drop box located by the public entry on the west side of Village Hall.

The Village has a long history of responsible, transparent budgeting that, for decades, has received awards and honors from government finance associations. The Village’s current $15.4 million property tax levy has been frozen at that rate since 1990.
