Skokie Car Dealership's BBQ Will Raise Funds For USO Every Saturday in July
Evanston Subaru in Skokie will hold their third annual BBQ4Troops in July.

Evanston Subaru in Skokie will host a USO fundraiser every Saturday during the month of July.
“Barbecue for the Troops” will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4, 11, 18 and 25 at the 3340 Oakton St. dealership.
Over the last two summers, Chicago-area automobile dealers raised $125,000 for the USO of Illinois by hosting a BBQs at numerous car dealerships around Chicagoland as part of a Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) initiative.

The “official” CATA date for organizing similar campaigns at locations throughout Chicagoland is the 18th, when the C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue will be on-hand offering free dog washes. Evanston Subaru will pay $10 for every dog washed, including Sunny - the Subaru house dog.

But classic foods and car washes will both be offered each Saturday in July at Evanston Subaru. Each week’s menu will feature classic American hamburgers, hot dogs and brats made to order. Evanston Subaru is also offering car washes while guests enjoy their BBQ lunch, for an additional donation to the USO.
