BURGLARY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE
Sometime between the afternoon of Monday Feb. 13 and Tuesday Feb. 14, someone gained entry to a victim's vehicle while it was parked in the secure underground garage on the 9600 block of Woods Drive.
BURGLARY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE
On Feb. 11 at 1:42 a.m., someone gained entry to an unlocked car and stole a pair of leather gloves and money on the 4900 block of Fargo Avenue.

On Feb. 16, between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., someone broke the victim's car window with an unknown object and stole their bag while they were parked at the Lifetime Fitness at 5330 Old Orchard Road.

Someone between Feb. 12 at 9:00 a.m. and Feb. 13 at 4:30 p.m. at Westfield Old Orchard 4999 Old Orchard Center, someone scratched the paint on the victim's car while it was parked overnight in the parking garage.
Someone used a blunt object to damage the victim's windshield, on the 8400 block of Monticello Avenue, between Feb. 13 at 7:00 p.m. and Feb. 14 at 7:15 a.m.
An suspect described as a juvenile male set fire to the grass in front of Weber Center, 9300 Weber Park Place, on Feb. 15 at 3:03 p.m.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Someone stole the victim's car from the west parking lot at 4999 Old Orchard Center, Westfield Old Orchard, on Feb. 13 between 3:03 p.m. and 10:04 p.m.
THEFTS OF LOST PROPERTY
Someone allegedly stole money from a victim's wallet that they lost at The Grove at 9000 block of Lavergne Avenue between Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m. and Feb. 10 at 3:30 p.m.
Someone stole the victim's black leather wallet and its contents after it was left at the store counter at Kostner Korner located at 4356 Howard Street, between Feb. 10 at 8:30 p.m. and Feb. 11 at 4:30 p.m.
Someone left their purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot at Walmart at 3626 Touhy Avenue, on Feb. 17 at 12:30 a.m. Upon their return 10 minutes later the purse had been stolen.
A man described as possibly Assyrian, 150-160 pounds, with a medium build, light complexion, medium length black combed back hair, a mustache, beard and wearing a black t-shirt and a black jacket allegedly stole the victim's iPhone 6 that she left on the counter at Discount Cigarettes, 4019 Oakton Street, on Feb. 15 between 9:30 a.m. and 9:35 a.m.
THEFT
Someone cut the lock off the victim's locker in the men's locker room and stole his iPhone 5s, gym bag, car key, and clothing at Xsport Fitness, 3450 Touhy Avenue, on Feb. 15 between 8:15 a.m. and 9:50 a.m.
IDENTIFY THEFTS
Someone fraudulently obtained the victim's credit information to open a Dish Network account on the 9500 block of Kedvale Avenue, between May 1 at 12:00 a.m. and February 9 at 1:00 p.m.
Someone fraudulently used the victim's credit information to make large purchases at Nordstrom and Banana Republic at 4937 Old Orchard Road, between Jan. 25 at 12:00 p.m. and Feb. 5 at 12:00 p.m.
Someone fraudulently filed the victim's 2016 income tax return on Feb. 11 at 5:16 p.m. on the 8300 block of Kenneth Avenue.
RETAIL THEFTS
A man with black framed glasses, wearing a red hat with white lettering, black jacket with red sleeves, black jeans, and black gym shoes, described as 20-25 years old, medium build and black, attempted to steal numerous items from the Walgreens 9150 Skokie Boulevard, on Feb. 13 at 5:03 p.m. He was accompanied by another man, 20-25 years old, wearing a black winter hat (possibly White Sox), black hooded sweatshirt, and white gym shoes, described as Latino.
The next day at the same Walgreens, on Feb. 14 between 5:38 p.m. and 5:57 p.m., a man described as Latino, in his mid 30's and wearing a black hat, black jacket with a red hoodie underneath, baggy jeans, and gray shoes with white soles stole 35 make-up items from the store and left the area in an older white Ford Crown Victoria.
A man wearing a bright yellow/ green Seattle Seahawks skull cap, yellow construction vest over a dark colored long sleeve sweatshirt, described as black and medium build, stole an auto shifter from the Pep Boys at 5220 Touhy Avenue on Feb. 16 between 12:45 p.m. and 1:02 p.m.
Three suspects described as white male juveniles stole a box of candy and ran from the Mobil at 4002 Dempster Street.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY/RETAIL THEFT
A concealed 5 bottles of tequila and left the Jewel at 9449 Skokie Boulevard without paying. When the man was stopped by the store manager in the parking lot, the man, who was described as black, 45-50 years old and 170-180 pounds, scratched the store manager and escaped.
BURGLARY
Someone used a pry tool to force entry to the front door of the residence on the 7800 block of Kenton Avenue, on Feb. 10 between 5:15 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Jewelry and money were stolen.
Someone used a pry tool to gain access to the victim's locked vehicle and stole machine parts and change on the 7500 block of Frontage Road, on Feb. 12 between 1:00 a.m.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
Two men and two women, accompanied by small children, paid for their meal using counterfeit money the 7020 Carpenter Road Buffalo Wild Wings location on Feb. 10 at 9:45 p.m.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Someone thew eggs at the a house on the 4200 block of Keeney Street between Feb. 11 at 9:30 p.m. and Feb. 12 at 12:58 a.m.
THEFTS
A pickpocket stole a woman's wallet from her jacket pocket as she walked through the outdoor mall area, at 4999 Old Orchard Road, Westfield Old Orchard, on Jan. 25 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. It was reported Feb. 10.
A suspect described as a bearded white man, approximately 35 years old, with black hair, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans stole numerous software items from the store.
Someone stole a victim's camouflage backpack containing cash from the front lobby of the Holiday Inn at 5300 Touhy Avenue on Feb. 12 between 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Someone stole a dealer owned license plate after removing it from a car at the Sherman Dodge on the 3500 block of Oakton Street on Feb. 10 between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Someone used an unknown cutting tool to steal the victim's catalytic converter from under the vehicle on the 7500 block of Tripp Avenue, between Feb. 8 at 11:00 p.m. and Feb. 9 at 5:00 a.m.
Someone used an unknown cutting tool to steal the victim's catalytic converter from under the vehicle, on the 7700 block of Tripp Avenue, on Feb. 11 between 1:00 a.m. and 1:06 p.m.
