Skokie Crimes: Arrests For Battery, Trespassing, Theft

SKOKIE, IL — The following information comes from the Skokie Police Department as a record of police activity and of those recently arrested. Readers are reminded an arrest is not an indication of guilt and criminal charges represent merely accusations that are often dropped or reduced.

All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

THEFT

Miosha Johnson-Preston, 21 of the 6200 block of South Park Shore East in Chicago, was arrested July 13 at 7:40 p.m. in the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard and charged with retail theft from Forever 21 and Marshall's. Her court date was set for Aug. 14.

THEFT

Aisha T. Johnson, 20, of the 6100 block of South Kenwood Avenue in Chicago, was arrested July 13 at 7:45 p.m. in the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard and charged with retail theft from Marshall's. Her court date was set for Aug. 14.

BATTERY

Jozeph Edmoun Dadesho, 19, of the 4800 block of Kirk Street, was arrested July 14 at 1:45 p.m. in the 4800 block of Kirk Street and charged with battery. His court date was set for July 25.

WARRANT

Patrick R. Soper, 21, of the 8900 block of Lavergne Avenue, was arrested July 14 at 8:40 p.m. in the 9100 block of Gross Point Road after he was found to have an in-state warrant.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Xavier Jay Richards, 26, of the 5000 block of Enfield Avenue, was arrested on July 16 at 3:17 a.m. in the 9000 block of Bronx Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct. He has a court date set for Sept. 11.

TRESPASSING

Noah L. Dinwiddie, 24, of the 6600 block of South Kenwood Avenue in Chicago, was arrested July 18 at 1:32 a.m. in the 4700 block of Madison Street and charged with criminal trespassing to a vehicle. His court date was set for Aug. 2.

TRESPASSING

Mary C. Kaiser, 63, of the 1900 block of Old Willow Road in Northfield, was arrested July 18 at 5:33 p.m. in the 5700 block of Old Orchard Road and charged with criminal trespassing to real property. She was given a court date of Aug. 9.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Paul S. Ibraham, 23, of the 4200 block of West Oakton Street, was arrested July 19 at 2:15 p.m. in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was also cited for theft of less than $500 in the same incident. His court date was set for Aug. 28.

BATTERY

Firdoose Alki Khan, 37, of the 7700 block of Kenton Avenue, was arrested July 20 at 7:58 p.m. in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road and charged with battery. His court date was set for Sept. 6. (No photograph available.)
