The Skokie Farmers’ Market is Jam-Packed with Family Fun!

Bring the children, both young and old to the Skokie Farmers' Market on Sunday, July 2!

Bring the children, both young and old to the Skokie Farmers’ Market on Sunday, July 2, as the market is jam-packed with fun for the entire family! First, meet Skokie’s very own firefighters while they visit the market from 9 a.m. to noon to participate in a water demonstration to earn a firefighter’s helmet and sticker badge, while supplies last! Then stay for the seasons first Yoga on the Green, the all level, free outdoor yoga class hosted by North Branch Yoga at 9:30 a.m.

The Market is open Sundays through November 5 and the hours are 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the west half of the Village Hall parking lot, 5127 Oakton Street.

A wide selection of fresh-grown seasonal fruits and vegetables are always in abundance at the Farmers’ Market. Also available are fresh baked goods, farm fresh eggs, a variety of meat, mushrooms and cheeses, fresh cut flowers, plants and much more. Arrive early for the best selection!

The market is sponsored by the Consumer Affairs Commission and supports local farming to bring fresh, nutrient-dense produce to the community. There are new vendors and other fun surprises at this year's Farmers' Market for families, including a document destruction event on September 17 and November 5, visits with an amazing balloon artist on some Sundays and a variety of musicians.
