Skokie Man Robbed at Gunpoint While Entering Home on Main Street

Police say it is the second time this man has been robbed at the same address in two months.

SKOKIE, IL - A Skokie man was robbed at gunpoint at home in the 4600 block of Main Street Friday night.

Police responded to an armed robbery at 8:56 p.m. on that street and were told by the victim that a black man who wore a ski mask and displayed a gun took the paperwork he was carrying but left without entering the residence, according to an initial report the department posted on Facebook.

The victim, who was unharmed in this incident, is the owner of a business in Chicago and was the victim of another robbery at the same location on Nov. 1.

A K-9 unit was called in to assist police with an immediate search, but no suspects were found.
