Skokie Park District: District Takes Financial Reporting Award

The Skokie Park District's Business Service Division was recently awarded the "Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting" for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2020. The certificate, presented by the Government Finance Officers Association, is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

Congratulations to business superintendent William Schmidt and his staff for their hard work and for meeting the high standards of the program, including demonstrating a constructive spirit of full disclosure in clearly communicating the district's financial story.
