Skokie Police Make Arrest in Shots Fired Incident

Incident occurred late Thursday near Gross Point Park.

A 23-year-old man is in police custody after allegedly firing several shots near Gross Point Park in Skokie Thursday night.

Officers from Skokie and Lincolnwood responded to the incident reported around 10 p.m. in the area of Lamon Avenue and Grove Street, the Skokie Review reports. No one was injured and it does not appear to be gang nor domestic related.

The suspect, unnamed by police, ran into his home in the 9000 block of Lamon Ave., where he was taken into custody without incident. There, police recovered two handguns and a rifle.
