Skokie Police Seek Purse Snatchers
Two women were robbed of the purses on back-to-back days last week.

Skokie police are on alert after two separate purse thefts were reported on consecutive days and possibly involving separate offenders.
Two women reported being robbed on consecutive days last week under similar circumstances, according to the Skokie Review.
On Wednesday, October 14, a woman walking alone in the 8900 block of Lacrosse Avenue was approached by a black male, who ripped her purse out of her hands and fled. He was described as being in his 20s and having dreadlocks. He was driving a silver or white Ford Focus.

The next day, police said a woman in the 9100 block of Skokie Boulevard was approached by a black male described as being between 12 and 15 years old and very skinny who forcefully grabbed her purse off her shoulder.
