Skokie Woman Fatally Struck By Vehicle

SKOKIE, IL — A Skokie woman was killed after being struck by a car Monday evening, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. Maggie French, 58, was hit by a car around 6:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

French lived just a block away from where she was hit.

An autopsy Tuesday ruled that her death was an accident resulting from injuries she suffered from being hit by the vehicle, according to the Sun-Times.

Police have not provided any details of the incident.
